Character Education
![]() Show your character!
Character education is an important part of elementary education. It takes a strong partnership of parents, teachers, administrators, and children working together to develop positive character traits. Volunteers are needed to help with this great program! Parent volunteers spend about 30 min each month in the classroom teaching a short lesson that relates to the month's character trait. Contact Diane Hunter for more information or to volunteer. |
Character Traits |
Each month, our school focuses on a different character trait. Our trait for May is COOPERATION. Our upcoming Open House and Art Show is a great way to showcase all that our students have accomplished this year, and it would not be possible without the cooperation of our students, staff, and parent volunteers. Thank you!
Please print out the cooperation statement and post it in a prominent place at home to remind your kids that we practice our character traits at home and school.

At Miramar Ranch, we practice cooperation:
- We work together towards a common goal.
- We ask, "How can I help?"
- We listen, share, and take turns.
- We participate and do our best.
- We compromise.
- We are team players.
