Family Facility Association (FFA)

Who we are:  Everyone who has a student at MRE is already a member of the FFA. There are no membership fees and everyone is invited and welcome to attend the monthly FFA meetings.

The FFA is a non-profit, parent organization, dedicated to enhancing the educational experience at MRE through volunteer work and fund-raising. The FFA board members are nominated and are voted into their board positions during the FFA meeting in May. There are many events, committees, and activities throughout the year that you can volunteer for. There are many FFA volunteer opportunities that can be done from home, and require only a small time commitment. Be involved with the FFA, it’s a chance for you to use your creativity and talents, provide input and suggestions, and to benefit our students and our school

How does the FFA’s work affect my student?:  Thanks to the generosity of our families, last year, we proudly provided over $100,000 of support to the school which had a positive impact on students.
•         $36,768          Academics and supply costs
•         $5,800            Computer lab and technology
•         $14,851          Science lab teachers and supplies
•         $16,000          Health Office
•         $8,000            Art Corps program and supplies
•         $800               Assemblies
•         $10,000           Noon Duty
•         $2,050             PE Supplies and running club

Where does the money come from? In a word, YOU!  The FFA raises funds through our annual Pledge Drive (September/October), Corporate Matching Program, Halloween Carnival, Golf Tournament & Gala (March), Jog-A-Thon (April), Book Fair, eScrip and Amazon (through the link on our school website).

Why support? Because YOUR student benefits THIS school year!
