Book Fair – We have two great book fair co-chairs. Here are the positions available:

“Muffins for Moms” Coordinator
“Donuts for Dads” Coordinator
Student Money Envelopes
Family Night Coordinator
Scholastic Contest Coordinator
Halloween Carnival – Committee members are needed to help plan our exciting 40th carnival especially to help with the following:
Games
Graveyard Goodies Game
Hospitality Committee – Join in with two great women to organize and set up for the Kinder orientation (already done for this year), First Day parent coffee, Ice Cream Social and Teacher & Classified Staff Appreciation.
Jog-A-Thon – We have a chair for this but she could use a couple committee members to help with planning our 25th Jog-A-Thon.
Safety Committee – This is a new committee this year. We have a chair but other members, who are concerned about safety, are needed.
School Directory Coordinator (in training) – Shadow our school directory volunteer so you can take over this position for the 2014-2015 school year.
SRCA & FFA Newsletter Coordinator – Gather articles to submit to the monthly publication.
Yearbook – If you’ve enjoyed looking at your student’s yearbook, please consider grabbing some friends to form the yearbook committee for next year. All positions are open:

If you are interested in serving on the FFA Executive Board, we have an opening for President Elect. As a member of the Executive Board you would need to attend the monthly meetings, usually once a month on Thursday mornings at 8am for an hour or less.

President-Elect
From Bylaws:
- Act as an assistant to the President.
- Supervise preparations for meetings of the general membership and of the Executive Board.
- Act as the Parliamentarian at meetings of the FFA and the Executive Board giving necessary advice in parliamentary procedures when requested. Although acting as the Parliamentarian, the President-Elect shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership including the right to make motions, debate and vote.
- Assist the Chairperson of the Membership Committee with his/her duties.
- Call the first meeting of the Nominating Committee, give instructions in procedure, and be available for additional information, if needed. Thereafter the President-Elect shall not attend meetings of the Nominating Committee unless selected to serve as a member of the committee.
- Chair the Bylaws Committee and review the bylaws annually.
- Perform the duties of the President in the President’s absence.
